“Arrogant bastard.” She spoke as she vainly pushed against Victor.
“I am.” He replied, his hand snaking through her hair to grasp the back of her head, the large hand cupping her jaw into his palm.
“And you think you just claim whatever you want?”
“I know I can.” He said so matter-of-factually that the woman in his arms blinked. “I know what I want and I will get what I want in the end.”
“You can't always have what you want, Victor.”
“You are so sure about that?” He dipped his head down slowly, his breath teasing over her sumptuous lips. “I will have you.”
“What if I don't want you?” She responded breathlessly.
“I don't care. You may not admit to yourself that you want me but I know.” Victor rumbled as he closed the distance between their lips.
“You aren't a Knight-Captain anymore. You can't make me come to you when you snap your fingers.”
“No, but you will accept me because you want me too.” He whispered.
“Fool...”
He gave a twitch of a smile before claiming the woman in his embrace.

Well, this guy has been haunting me lately and is whispering to write the next chapter to Requiem. Someone had asked whether there was a romantic interest for him, well, there may be but it isn't going to be an easy thing and it might be a tragic thing. Victor is not an easy man to love. Great for a short fling but to actually share your heart with him, you would have to put with his harshness, brutal honesty, and rigid beliefs and thinking. He is very much the Alpha Male with his domineering presence.
So, with that said, the mystery woman here has yet to be introduced but it has caught Victor's interest to where he will be the one doing the chasing, instead of the women chasing him and falling into his bed.
