So what is up with me....

It has been a long while since I have updated my journal, any of my stories and one piece of artwork in the past couple of weeks. Weeeelllll.....life is interesting and I have been going through some stuff personally and coming out on top of that. Plus, the stress of work (small amount of it), financial obligations to many places, and looking for other work on top of that, along with helping my own family out, has been taking up a lot of my time.

Though, finding more work has been fruitful! I got recruited by a prominent life insurance company (and no cold calling!) and so have been studying at any time possible to pass my state license exam. I can say learning all these financial and insurance aspects, along with a smattering of contract law, has been challenging.

As spring has come, I have been relieving my stress and grounding myself by getting my hands dirty....literally! Been planting and weeding, and starting seeds for my herb garden, along with helping my stepmother with the rest of the plantings in the garden behind the house. We got a good lettuce bed going and already have had some micro greens for a couple of meals! Yum! Just yesterday, I got the tomatoes planted and come July or so, will have some wonderful beefsteak tomatoes to eat fresh off the vine!

I am starting to get the yen again to write something but so many of my stories need new chapters I don't know where to start. To all my followers, I haven't abandoned them! Honestly! But the stories have been rather silent in my head for a long time. Only now are the whispers starting to come back. I won't guarantee that I will have anything new within a week or two but sometime this summer, there will be something!
